We are not yet able to accept tax deductible donations. We have almost
finished our By-Laws and Articles of Incorporation. When we have we will
post more information about how to donate. We could use help with Start-up
cash. It would not be tax deductible until we have completed out 501(C)3
documentation. we could use help with that also

As of now. Our biggest concern is not loosing the channel. Please call
your legislators. State Senators and Representatives. All of Genesee
County Legislators voted to dismantle Public Access Television.

We currently still have the Channel. Although it may be
moved to channel 916 in Feb 2009. There are still opportunities to produce
programming to be aired..

According to P.A. 480 the Service provider (Comcast) has
no editing control over channel 17. However, they are producing a competing
calendar with the same content. Recommend you call
your elected officials and ask them to fix it.

One of the few good things about P.A. 480 is that it is no longer
necessary to go through a class to get a show on the air. As long as it
doesn't violate the
FCC
rules you can air it.
You can hire someone to produce your shows. Any one of the producers
can help with that. However, you can make your own using your home
computer. It just needs to be burnt onto a DVD. You can contact Paul
810-239-2901 or Ted Jankowski 810-701-2424 as to any technical problems.
Paul makes weekly runs to Southfield. Since the taxpayer is not picking
up the bill for his gas. We ask for a few dollars to help pay for gas.
Five dollars is fine.

Well whenever Bob isn't getting an article in the Paper. You can
usually catch him at the White Horse on Sunday Mornings. However, the real
reason you do not see him on TV anymore is that since our elected
officials decided that the new video services would not have to supply the
same things that the incumbent video service provider always had. The new
video service provider only had to if it was technically feasible. So
since the new guys don't have to provide a studio. Comcast elected not to also.
There are two ways we know of to get your DVD's to
Comcast in Southfield.
1. Mail your disk to Southfield directly.
Comcast Cable
ATTN: Brian M. Popa
27800 Franklin Rd
Southfield, MI 48034-236
2. You can drive it down yourself but you will need to get instructions
for entering the facility. So call: Brian M. Popa
Leased Access Coordinator
Comcast - Michigan Region
Tel: 248-359-6516
Fax: 248-359-6750
3. You may also have Paul take your DVD down. We only ask for a $5.00
donation to help pay for gas. It will cost just under $5.00 to send your
DVD yourself. If Paul takes it weekly, then you know someone actually put
it in Brian's hands.
